Merry & Gay Throw Pillow | Pink Retro Typography Gay Christmas Decor

Merry. Gay. No further questions.

Some pillows need a pinup. This one just needs a font. Bold cherry-red lettering on blush pink says exactly what the season is for, in the voice of a 1970s department-store sale sign. The Merry & Gay throw pillow is the quiet one in the House of Prancer line, which is to say it is only slightly loud.

The Print

Chunky retro display lettering in cherry red with a cream outline, centered on a blush-pink ground, with a swash ampersand doing most of the work. Original House of Prancer typography. Printed edge to edge on the front, with a solid black back.

Where It Lives

The sofa, the reading chair, the guest bed, or the entryway bench where it greets everyone who walks in. Pairs with the Deck the Balls pillow for a matching pink set, or with any of the pinups when the room needs a straight man.

Gift It To

The friend who just moved in together, the couple hosting their first Christmas, or anyone whose holiday decor could use one word of clarity. Safe for the in-laws, the office exchange, and the group chat.
